I filed a road maintenance request with Orange County today asking for repairs or repaving on Phase I-III roads.
Within an hour the Roads & Drainage District Supervisor for our area, Marquis Dunston, called to provide an update. He said a woman in Phase I contacted the County about Gray Birch Circle last year, and in response a team came out and evaluated the condition of all of our roads. The concrete roads in Phase I are the only such roads in Orange County, and the County didn’t know how to repair them. That’s why they haven’t been fixed yet.
Phase I roads are the subject of a current Capital Improvement Project. A consultant is evaluating the condition of the roads and identifying options for repairs. Mr. Dunston says that Pave Phase I’s concrete roads will probably be torn out and repaved with asphalt so they can be maintained using existing equipment and materials in the future. This will probably take place one year after the consultant’s recommendation is received.
All roads in Phases I through III will probably be paved at the same time.
Mr. Dunston agreed to contact me with updates as they become available, and I’ll post them on the website under the “road repairs” tag and discuss them in board meetings.
Kudos are due to the as-yet-unknown Phase I woman who started this process a year ago.

What is the amount for HOA dues? I haven’t received anything.
Thanks,
