The board is pleased to announce that we have authorized the purchase of equipment needed to repair the playground climbing equipment (see photo). The equipment has a 3-4 month lead time once the order is placed. Based on this, we expect it to be received and installed by September.
The board must still vote to approve funding of other purchases needed to reopen the playground, including mulch and tire swing. Pressure washing the equipment, while not a safety issue, is another proposed measure that would enhance the playground’s appearance. We will work on these tasks before the climbing equipment is installed.
